It’s time again to Adopt-a-Family
We’re asking you to please help children and families in need this holiday season by becoming a Leprechaun Adopt-a-Family Donor, whether for a family, a few items, or a cash donation. This is such an important lifeline for many of our families with chronically or terminally ill children. It’s especially important now during these difficult times.
Our 2020 Adopt-a-Family program served many families throughout Northeast Ohio. The families’ stories last year were especially poignant with widespread job loss, Coronavirus infections and deaths, and a general sense of despair. Not only did parents and caregivers ask for necessities such as food, gas money/bus tickets, winter boots and coats but so did the children. Even the children asked for food. We’re anticipating it won’t be much different this holiday season.
This will be our 33rd year of helping these families through our Adopt-a-Family program. We couldn’t foresee back in 1988, when helping just a single family, that this program would become one that helps so many families have a chance to be thankful for a Christmas that otherwise they would not have enjoyed.
It’s easy to become a donor, just download the Adopt-a-Family form. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to call 216-970-0618.
School children need a helping hand
Still dealing with the pandemic, the families we serve while caring for their chronically and terminally ill children still have little to no income and need school supplies, backpacks, new clothes, shoes, fall jackets and sweaters. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Bob Vincent Memorial Golf Tournament donates $3500!
That’s right, the 20th Annual Bob Vincent Memorial Golf Tournament was a sold-out success donating $3500 to The Leprechaun Foundation. The donation will go a long way in helping the terminally and chronically ill children and their families that we serve.
A special thanks to all our donors!
With 2021 being our 41st year of granting wishes to chronically and terminally ill children in Northeast Ohio we want to say a huge thank you to you, our donors. Your steadfast loyalty has allowed us to continue our mission to fulfill dreams since 1980.
