There’s nothing quite as satisfying
Making a child’s wish simply come true is a magical experience for everyone involved.
The Leprechaun Foundation grants the greatest individual dream or desire to terminally and chronically ill children. We’re set apart from other wish granting organizations by granting all wishes anonymously.
By donating their time, talents, money and contacts, members of The Leprechaun Foundation find the knowledge that they made a child’s dream come true reward enough for all their efforts. The Leprechauns are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.
From humble beginnings
The Leprechaun Foundation was established in early 1980 at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital by two law enforcement officers who felt a very strong personal need to help sick children. For more than 40 years we've been helping terminally and chronically ill children and their families.
Your donations are tax exempt
The Leprechaun Foundation is a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501(C)(3) charitable organization as determined by the IRS and incorporated in the State of Ohio under Charter 553129. A letter of designation is on file. All donations made are tax exempt.

At this time, The Leprechaun Foundation works with Child Life Workers, Social Workers, Nurses and Physicians at these area hospitals:
- UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital
- MetroHealth Medical Center
