We Get Thanks
Just some of the “Thank You” correspondence we receive
Over the years, the Leprechauns have received many letters and cards of thanks and gratitude from children, families and hospital staff—here are just a few, starting with the most recent.
MetroHealth thanks us for our 2026 Adopt-a-Family donations
January 21, 2026
From the department of Pediatrics and the Child Life and Education team, we want to express our heartfelt\gratitude for adopting 16 families for the annual Adopt-a-Family holiday wish program and for your generous donation of toys, games, and activities for our pediatric playroom.
Your contribution truly helps create a positive and uplifting environment for our young patients. The items you provided will go a long way in not only normalizing their hospital experience but also in offering moments of joy and distraction during their stay. Play is such an essential part of a child's development, and through your thoughtful donation, you are making a significant difference in their healing journey.
We are deeply grateful for your support and commitment to bringing comfort and happiness to children during such a challenging time. The impact of your kindness will be felt by many children and families for a long time to come.
Thank you once again for your generosity and compassion. We are truly fortunate to have your foundation as a partner in supporting the children and families we serve.
Sincerely,
Jessica Chupnik, MS,

University Hospitals thanks us for $2,000 donation toward school supplies
Once again, The Leprechaun Foundation provided funding for The Sickle Cell Center at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital for their back-to-school event which provides children with backpacks stocked with school supplies to start them on a path for success in the coming school year.
Dear Friends:
Thank you for your foundation’s recent gift to University Hospitals. Your generosity will allow us to continue to provide and improve upon the high-quality, compassionate health care our patients have come to expect from UH.
